Segmented Reflective Tape – No Restrictions, Total Comfort!

Our Segmented Tape is a unique heat applied reflective material. Meaning you can hardly feel the tape in comparison to a heavy sew on tape.

TTMC Reflective – Why the X at the back?

Many customers ask why the X at the back of reflective shirts now?  This is one of the latest additions to the TTMC-W17 Standard and it makes good sense. The reason for the X at the back is to clearly identify at night, who is facing towards and away from you.  At night it’s hard to tell if someone is moving forwards or backwards. This is particularly trickly for truck drivers or operators of machinery that may be on the move. Knowing if someone is facing away or towards you could be vital. The only issue with this, is that with traditional sew on reflective tape, this can restrict the fabrics movement, and in turn your movement.  This is no longer an issue with Segmented Reflective tape.  As it is heat applied and does not inhibit the fabric’s movement in any way. Increasing your ability to move freely and with greater comfort throughout the day.

Sustainable Lyocell Fabric

Lyocell is one of the worlds most sustainable fibers. It has similar properties to merino wool, but does the opposite. It keeps you cool! With inherent moisture wicking (quick dry), anti-bacterial properties to reduce odours. We believe 100% Lyocell will out preform cotton for keeping you feeling cool.

Made from the wood pulp of fast growing gum trees. Lyocell requires far less water to produce in comparison to cotton.  A naturally breathable fabric that supports the regulation of the body’s natural temperature. Creating a cooling effect without the use of chemicals. It is naturally soft, yet incredibly durable. Making it an ideal fabric for summer workwear shirts.
